I just converted my 183cm and that comes out at precisely 6.00 foot so it's okay, but yes it takes some getting used too.

I'm preparing the bike a bit more currently and then will post an update "Part 2" on my first riding impressions also. It's been great so far, but to be totally familiar with the bike (for regular road use) will take another four weeks at least. On the track it might take 5+ years wink

And thanks about the reminder - yes it's absolutly true, when I started "racing the guys" was when I had my first excursion into the grass last year... very dangerous to let yourself be pulled by someone more experienced.
I actually think that part can be practiced in PC Racing sims - to not run 100% "on edge" all the time but with some reserves, to mentally tell yourself to leave some emergency space.

Happy to see some of you guys enjoying this - I'm currently preparing part 2 which deals with a bit of bike preparation and my first impressions riding a sport bike (supposedly the most uncomfortable seat position of all Supersports wink )

I hope Wags will again agree to provide his insights also...
