Didn't he survive the entire "Sharpe" series? I'm pretty sure he did, unless he got taken out in some bizarre fashion and I missed it lol.
True but that was a UK production and it was set in the Peninsular campaign during the Napoleonic Wars so it was probably watched by about .000005% of the US tv viewing population.

Seriously though, not sure if you've seen any episodes but they are good, they are effectively feature films outright, majority being 2 hrs or so.
@Tarnsman, I know PBS showed some episodes as I get PBS on cable over here, it was a part of their "classics" season or something like that.....well worth watching. Daniel Craig and Elizabeth Hurley appear in a few episodes as well. Good casting, well written and good drama. I would have thought BBC America might have shown it? Surprised they didn't if so.
