Quote:
Kate Upton's racy nun-inspired swimsuit in The Three Stooges has seen the model take centre stage in a religious furore.

The 19-year-old Sports Illustrated model - who plays the the voluptuous Sister Bernice in the slapstick comedy - appears in a very revealing 'nun-kini' in the film, complete with a headdress and crucifix resting on her ample cleavage.

I don't think the producers of this film were shooting for any Oscars. wink

She looks like she has a beer belly in one of those shots. I don't really find her better than any other model.

I took the kids to see the Three Stooges Movie on saturday, and I thought it was pretty good. I thought the Farrelly Bros did a great job of bringing them back to life. There is a lot negative press on the movie about how it's just an "imitation" of the real thing, but I'm not sure it works any other way--just how is one supposed to do a new take on The Three Stooges? Also, it was sort of poignant because the original Three never had a big feature film at the peak of their careets like the Marx Bros (who I never thought were quite as funny --their films always get bogged down with Harpo and Zeppo musical numbers IMO). In a way, it was like finally giving them their due. There was alot of laughter in the theater--kids loved it. Not everything works, but that's how the originals were too.

As for the bikini, well, it speaks for itself. I knew once I saw it that the it would not go over well with the Vatican.

Any publicity is good publicity, especially if it's free.

And this movie is going to need the publicity... lots of it.

It actually had a pretty good opening weekend. It also helps that the movie had a modest budget.
