#3555422 - 04/12/12 11:18 PM Arma 2 "Bad Serial Number..." error
Wedge Member Registered: 02/13/06 Posts: 1210	I have the DVD versions of Arma 2 and OA installed. I have not played in quite awhile. Tonight I tried to run the game and I'm getting the "Bad serial number setup" error. I did a search on the internet and the only thing that comes back is this error happens on the Steam version of the game. Should I reinstall Arma 2/OA in Steam? Did anyone else come across this issue with the non steam version?

Wedge Member Registered: 02/13/06 Posts: 1210	I ended up uninstalling all of Arma 2. What would you do - reinstall from the DVDs then patch or download from steam and install using the DVD keys?

No other retail games can be registered and downloaded using Steam.
