Though I guess I can't laugh too hard. It's probably been almost 30 years since I heard one last. Used to be awakened every Saturday morning by the Air National Guard, but not any more. My kids have never heard one. frown

I remember those days well, my mother was so pissed when some her dishes were broken by the sonic booms. She called everyone she could
to get them to stop. Actually, I think its been closer to 40 years since they stopped.

Concorde used to go supersonic over the Bristol Channel, I used to hear it in the distance while walking the dog on the beach. It's getting on for 10 years ago since I last heard it....

I miss sonic booms; even tho I didn't grow up near any major airbases we'd still hear them fly over and rattle windows; now that will wake you up early in the morning lol!

Heard them now and again when the National Guard's F-4's pushed it a little too hard on their training missions.
