The Highway is pretty darn fun if you ask me. I just started a new version that has the feel of a final release. Stay low to avoid those BUKs. The jet will cruise above 300 since there isn't any drag making for some great flying. This mission is making me a better gunner, too. Stabilize in PAC-1 and the Shilkas don't really have a chance.

Took the server down for a bit to get some updates loaded and disable a few things that were coming on during startup. I'll get things rolling again soon.

That mission looks like fun... maybe I'll see some of you around throughout the day and we can fly it.

Thanks for a great mission WC! I expected the Highway to just be a fireworks festival with lots of unplanned trips south, but it really has a lot to do, and retaking Novo was really satisfying!

The Highway mission is like riding a rollercoaster - lots of twists and turns. Good PAC practice!

The RWR can be a bit overwhelming. With Launch Warnings, press the PRI button on the CMSC to filter the threats and you will then see which site has the targeting lock on your aircraft. You will be able to see if the threat is at 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock and then eyeball the launch plumes. The mission flight path will keep you at the maximum range with little to worry about when staying below 400 feet.



Press the ALT ALERT button in the center of the Up Front Controller to change the AGL setting of the Altitude Warning to zero. Press the button, then '0' then ENT to change the setting from 500 to 0; press ALT ALERT twice more to clear it from the HUD.

Eno, had a couple issues last evening to report - maybe ISP related? At about 1Jun2012 T2000 MDT we had some 7 pilots in the server and all got kicked - I got a DCS Stopped Working message on my screen. Teamspeak was unaffected. The server continued to run through the Client interruption.

Then it happened again at 1Jun2012 T2312 - all Clients booted and the server kept on ticking.


Repair at Gelendzhik if you can make it...

Hmmm that's odd? Mission related kick possibly? I don't know how the ISP would kick people but leave the server running.

On a side niobe my apologies to those who were enjoying the game when it crashed. That's very annoying to me... If its on my end I'll do my best to fix it.

Okay guys- judging by some of the feedback I'm reading in other forums I think we're trending back towards setting a password. If this does get set up, I will post the password on the first page of his thread. Typically, just for information, it is 'go'
