I dont know if anyone is reading my messages here, but I would like your input on the Scenery -> Skypal page.

Do you like the videos better than an image file to show the colors?

I'm sure many of us are following this thread with a lot of excitement, we just don't want to interrupt the flow . In my opinion, an image with a proper resolution will do (a 320*400 image). However, to display skypals changes over time and/or weather, a video would be better (480p would be great).

The videos I have up now are 400x320. Looks good on my screen. But the drop-down menue drops behind the videos...uhg.

Scenery: Packages, Clouds, Firepals are up. I have a few more to add, but Im beat now.

I also created a new "cloudy" texture in 512x512. I call it "Puffy Clouds. Works with both Regular v1.01F and TSH updates! Enjoy!

I hope the explanation of Skypat's Texfixes help.

Finished the Misc Skins -> Miscellaneous and System/Menu section.

Some good oldies in there worth using.

Hi, Rudel ! The skypal-videos is very cool!!

By inserting an extra top banner or picture, ( where this text is located : Scenery:Skypal)
in the code for that page, it should move the place-holders for movies,
a bit south and the menus should stay clear of movies.

This could be a simple solution to the menu problem, you have.

Thank you for the advice. I think my symptom is using an iframe for the video instead of the <embed object> tags. I'll have to check it out.


Not much, but the Vehicle textures are up!

Do you have the cockpit texture that shows the master mode panel on the far left side as glowing larger, smoother, and in orange? I see it all the time in screenshots but can never seem to find it.

Can you post the screenshot? I'm sure I have the cockpit posted.

Weapon textures are up! What a pain to get all the screen shots...lol.

Im actually talking with Ghost Pony to find his Desert Camo AIM-9.

I have Hornit's weapon fix too, which will be up tomorrow....
