Damn... tried to get in on this as my first MP experience but all I'm getting is integrity check failed? I am running 1.1.1.1! What could the problem be I wonder?

Edit: In my frustration I didn't think to read around before posting. Re-installing now to see if that works.

Hey guys just had to drop by and say thanks for the server/missions and the flying! I joined for the first time tonight as more of a "trial" run to see how I did...lets just say that I have a lot more to learn lol! I'm used to flying simple SP missions with minimal air defenses and clear weather; definitely threw me for a loop lol.

Even then I still had fun, and plan to join more often. Hopefully I'll be of better use after learning more

Thanks again and see you next time!

Wow, that was a nice turn out, and about 4-5 of us on SimHQ TS, too.

Jojo, great that you joined in. Saw a couple other new joins tonight, too.

Riders ot Storm is a fun mission with the weather and valleys to hide in.

Ants... red fire ants marching towards the blue bases... army ants expanding their nests, pinpoint accuracy necessary. Cargo ants, fire ants and air defense ants, hot dry windy conditions.

Yeah that was really fun. Not going to lie I had my doubts about this mission but wow- it's a boatload of fun!

I've been thinking- don't change that waypoint with the friendly forces. I made an error and knew there was something not quite right and shot anyway. True I didn't know there were friendlies in the area but I shouldn't have assumed.

Had a lot of fun in that mission WC. Thanks again!

X-ray- I hope you get it sorted out sooner than later!

Jojo! Great to see you in there. That's a tough mission to be learning the ropes on. I'm not exactly new but still really weak with a lot of my basic skills. I think you would enjoy a lot of our other missions too. Got a few open training missions cued up as well. Feel free to join those!

See ya!

Before I retired last evening I checked and the server was up for over an hour after it auto-restarted the Riders mission!

Eno, was it still running OK this morning?

BTW, Namaste asked me the other day if Road Kill can be put up for the guys who fly during our nights.

Absolutely. We can run it tonight.

And yes riders was running when I got up so all good there too. Hopefully it'll run smooth today as well.

Was able to join Road Kill tonight for a while. Killed several SAMs and a few shilkas. At one point I had to take off with a ZSU sitting at the far end of RWY24 -- that was very cool. Had the ECM running before I even started my take-off run. Rotated at 130, gear up and banking just feet off the ground and I could hear the AAA exploding all around the jet. Dodged a whole lot of SAMs, but ducked a bit too low there at the end and went swimming.

Cool mission.

Thanks for a great time guys! You'll see more of me on the server from now on, time zone permitting.

Had fun joining up for some formation flying for the first time:

And the ending was very satisfying! I think WC has some less flattering screenshots of the way I returned to Sochi though... biggrin

XRay_Specs - I'll never tell, for 1 million dollars biggrin

That last screenie above is from after winning Road Kill and the three of us landing back at Sochi-Adler.

We waited for the auto-restart, which worked as advertised, escorted the first C-130 out of the area and left the mission running for the night. Hopefully it ran well for everyone.
