I did not play this one. However, I had a blast with SWOTL! It's still installed on my PC today via DosBox.

That looks very much similar to SWOTL, though on the PC SWOTL was VGA.

It has a better replay and sqd system than CLOD...true.
Great game, i brought it 2 weeks before getting my Amiga and read the manual back to front about 5 times. smile

Ha! The code wheel. Forgot all about it. I took it apart and copied it so I could install a copy of the game on my work PC and play during lunch break (complete with a spare joystick). Our Engineering Manager was a former Naval Aviator during Vietnam (F4) and he would sometimes play along with me and a friend.

During one lunchtime session my friend shot at the parachute of a German pilot that had ejected, collapsing the chute and sending the pilot to his death. The Engineering Manager did NOT like that at all. He shot my friend the dirtiest look. He didn't play with us again after that.
