Many people like them a bit more if you let em sit out for a while and get a little hard shell on the outside.

BTW I work about half a mile from where they are made. The company has these about 3 or 4 of these New Beetle VW with a huge Peep on the roof. Very amusing to see them scurrying about.

I remember eating ONE of those, several years ago. One Easter I had a box of the yellow chicks left from a gathering, and put it in the drawer in the bottom of the fridge. About 5 years went by before I rediscovered it. Had completely forgotten them, they'd been hiding in the very back of the drawer.

They were practically stone. Still in perfect color and shape, however.

I believe they can be used to pack into wounds, seal leaky pipes, and plug holes in tires (that's tyres to you fellas across the water there..)..

It's amazing to me the different types of gross things kids love to eat and drink that we adults (most of us at least) eventually grow out of.

Peeps, Chef Boyardee, Kool-Aid, Tang, Circus peanuts, etc.

I never liked these as a kid either. They smell like #%&*$# feet and taste twice as bad.
