I'm not sure whether she would like the 'in your face' action. The only problem I've found is that the aerial movement isn't life-like but more of everything is moving way faster than you are.
Of all the sims I've used since the late '80s....this sim is just too much in your face.
Viewing it on a 42" toshiba makes it very hard to stay focused.
Now, I'll say this, it does have a very well thought out arcade.
And as the user gets more acquainted, you can tailor the flight model and cockpit to your taste.
And if you eliminate all of the cheats and gingerbread, you probably have the hardest sim ever created.
I've worked with it enough to recognize that its just a work of art....nothing more...leaves you near the edge but not to it.
From the Great symphonic score, the correct ambient sounds...the swaying trees, the landscape and skies are mouth-watering. Even on my dated system, using medium setting, WoP runs more fluid than what you see on YouTube.
But, in my heart, I truly believe that she would get more joy for her time using Battle of BritainII: Wings of Victory.
I thought it was a keeper, but...Ya just have to go through all of its underpinnings to see what it can do on the screen and in your face. If this is the direction of all Gaijin products, they won't have my support.
I flew a trainer mission using simulator settings...flew from the north coast clear around the the most southern tip and back....saved the file and now I have a gorgeous 40 minute film, complete w/kick classical scoring.
Oh yeh, its a movie maker too.
