Cool vid, too bad he's using an old version of Gran Turismo not GT5, and he's not using a wheel or cockpit view... he might have been more impressed with the sim if he did.

Top gear series 7 was shown in late 2005, GT4 hadn't been out long when this was filmed. Doesn't excuse the lack of steering wheel and cockpit view.

Hehe over here I watch my TG a couple of seasons behind when it shows up on Netflix, I didn't realize how old that was.

I bet it was just a nice excuse for Jezza to have a nice California vacation with a trackday in between biggrin but at least he didn't use Project Gotham Racing or something less simlike.

Also it is way better than the Top Gear USA doofusus doing Forza4 and Infinion they had wheels but obviously don't know how to use them:

USA Top Gear is a gimmick... it sucks royal Dont ever watch top gear on the history channel.

BBC America = UK Top Gear.

I dropped cable 1.5 years ago so Netflix or the web is where I get my BBC and TG, I'd love it if BBC offered a web subscription model, I'd definitely pay for that (and Sky Sports and Eurosport).

The USA Top Gear is pretty bad, it seems like whoever was responsible for the copying of the show either didn't watch the original or didn't understand the hosts, it's not just a 3 buffoons and nice cars show... hell I'd even prefer if they made it a bit more serious like "Fifth Gear" with Tiff Needell and Vickie Butler-Henderson, another of my favorite car shows. Compared to those two shows TG USA is unwatchable crap.
