Well, finally progressed with the main story quest in Skyrim more the other night which allowed me access to the summit of the great mountain. I happened to start up at around 8pm game time. Had a nice conversation with Parthanaax (awesome suprise it was too) that must have lasted till early morning game time. I watched my ascent go from an amazing atmospheric spectacle at night to a soft dawn morning.

No spoilers here just some snaps from part of my journey up.

Nice shots. I've dallied (lollygagged?) in the main quest, just made my way to Solitude and did a bunch of quest there but haven't spoken to the contact to progress further in Diplomatic Immunity quest.
But after clocking almost 250 hrs in the game, on a single character, I think it's high time I hurried the main quest along.

Yeah I think I'll be playing this game for years. I'm only level 24 and forty something hours in and have done so much but there is still even more to do.

I find that I am a completer. So, as I make my way through the main quest, I stop and explore every map object I see. After awhile I forget where I was heading in the first place!

I got to lvl 30 with my first character before really figuring out how I like to play. Started over to make a specialized character and I'm back to about lvl 28. LOVE this game. I'm barely moving the main quest lines, mainly just enjoying the heck out of the thieves guild and dark brotherhood missions, with the dragons and bandit camp clearing missions thrown in. Incredibly engrossing game, it's scary how fast time flies by when playing it. LOL

In that second pic, I thought you were riding a Tauntaun! Looks like a great game. I keep waiting until I can play it on my big screen, but it's getting more difficult by the day.
