Hi!
Capt Haddock,
The Sue was and still is pretty good sim.
I really think the ED should make a 'Legacy version' for the Win xp/vista/7/Linux.
It would need a support at least for the sound and joystick/s.
Also a faster screen play (fps) and longer viewing in general would be very nice.
I tried the Su27 v1.5 several times in a Win XP home(32bit) pc without success.
I have a three usb controllers:
- CH FighterSitck
-
Saitek X35T with stand-alone mod.
-
Logitech MoMo pedals (and wheels)
I was trying the CHFS alone with Sue, but the axis inputs were just flickering widly.
I combined above controllers to one virtual joystick(four axis) with PPjoy. The virtual joystick was working fine with newer games but with Sue the axis were just flickering
khriztian,
Thank you for your Su25/MIG29 mod link
Please, could you kindly tell your system specs? Maybe the Sue is working better in Win 7?
ArgonV,
Yes, the Sue was known back then with it's 'proffessional' menu/gui. No intro or anything, just staright to the business.
Did you check the 'About Flanker' window? It should tell the version.
My first Sue was in a CD with 4 different sims. Sue, Flight Unlimited, some ww2 carrier sim and something I can't remember.
The Sue version was 1.1 or 1.2 DOS version.
