Not to forget that the right game can give you skill also useful (or at least partially) in the real life.

Some are actually used as didactic tools for kids with mental issues.

...

But then you have postal 2...

My character somehow got all twisted up. I was playing the mission where you have to infiltrate the Golden Glow Estate and do multiple things. When I was out burning beehives and fighting I just eventually ran away to view my success from a distance. I first noticed it when I squated down on a tree trunk. Coot..the squatter../simHQ/2011

Which is why I am a Charles Barkley fan. He always said he isn't a role model and if you are looking for one, look at your parents.

I think he got a turrible rep...just turrible.

Jillette's completely wrong on a couple of counts. First, Rogue Warrior and Operation Flashpoint: Red River were every bit as awful as the Grateful Dead.

Second, I fail to see the difference between a kid with his ass glued to the sofa playing Call of Duty and one with his ass glued to the sofa watching ESPN. Both would make the same noise of Velcro being ripped apart if you tried to free them from their perch. Get off your ass and help me with the yard, kid.

And third (and perhaps the most important and thank God someone's already made this point early), why would I give a flying rip what Jillette thinks about child-rearing? Especially MY child.

Most of those people are real wanks and they are only getting worse with agw smile You should stop by and say hi. There were several people wondering what you were up to just the other month.

How do I know you are who you say to be?

How do you know I am who you think I am?

How do we know Panzer is real and not the most advanced
internet bot ever created continuously evolving and learning
from us until one day it takes over SimHQ as it's first step
for world domination?

I won't try to argue with you on that point as long as you don't argue with my point that Jerry Garcia had to be one of the most overrated guitarists ever.

Although I don't care for the grateful dead very much, he lost my respect with the statement that they are "provably #%&*$# music.". That is the kind of dismissive arrogance that he is critizing immediately beforehand. Rhetoric...it can get you into trouble sometimes, if you use it carelessly.
