Question, is there a way to increase your research speed? I know you need specific numbers of research stations to meet research requirements but say if it takes 5 stations and you have 10 does it go twice as fast?

Don't think so, the advent get some tech that ups their research speed by about a third iirc, but otherwise only way to up speed is to set the global research speed in the game settings when you start a game.

I always leave most of that on the slowest possible. I was just wondering if it would be worth building more than 8 of each research base or use those resources for other building.

if it does not increase the speed then you only need them as backup which is not needed at all.

A couple of things...

The latest Rebellion Beta only has 2 playable races, the Vasari aren't in it yet. HOWEVER, each race has 2 factions: loyalist and rebel. I'd say the 2 share about 85% of their stuff, with each then getting some unique things on top of that.
So the beta has everything that's in Trinity EXCEPT the Vasari which will be beta 3 I guess.

Brennus, if you're up for some Sins post-Arma tonight I'll be around.

The titans are a mixed bag. As it stands now when one dies it can be rebuilt with the exact same experience level so there is no real reason to destroy one.

If it did loose all it's experience then there would be a real incentive to keep yours alive but if it died you would be steamrolled by whoever killed your titan (as long as their titan was alive with experience levels.)

I am not sure how they should fix this. Maybe they should make it a selectable option pregame. I would prefer the levels to go away when your titan dies even if that means you get steamrolled but I can see how for balance reasons it would be better to at least keep some of the levels. They need to make the construction times and resource costs of the titans a lot higher though.

If you can, try a direct ip connection. For some reason their match making service causes the games to desync.
