Anyone use these and do they do the job? I'm thinking of getting a few for trims and want to make sure they wont break as soon as I plug them in. Are there any other companies that make them as well?

Yeah I have one and I love it for FSX, IL2, (and it works with XP10 Demo too), haven't had any problems at all with it and I mount it and unmount it 5-6 times a week from my desk when I am done flying and need to restore the desk to "work from home" mode.

Picked it up for $49 and think it was a great deal at that price, but saw it at Frys for $36 the other day, that is a smoking deal for it.

Does this work with all simulations? IE: is it a genuine game controller? Or is it one of the Saitek lines controllers that only works with select software products?

This one shows up as a normal USB controller as an axis, I don't think it needed it's own drivers but since I already had a X52 I can't tell for sure, but so far I've been able to map it to stuff that allows for a elevator trim axis.

Very cool to hear Kludger, initially Saitek missed the bus with it's Pro Flight FSX/MSFLIGHT only products but I was under the impression that newer controllers work with just about anything.
