I am hoping that the expansion release causes trinity to go on sale on steam sometime before release. At which point I am going to buy the trinity pack and the rebellion pack.

Is the gameplay a lot like Homeworld?

Seem to be just going by the screenshots etc.I loved the Homeworld series but with them not working under Windows 7 64-bit I am looking for something to fill in for it.

Well, I picked up the rebellion pre-order, its pretty nice, I can't tell what it is, maybe they increased the texture resolution or tweaked the lighting, but it looks better than the original. I also like the new tech, civ and ship options, very cool how you can pick the different rebel groups and the differences between the main factons. Btw I should befree in a couple of hours if you wanna play something panzer and /or jedi, just shoot me a message on steam or here. I will check and hop on TS.

Do you need trinity installed to play rebellion? Because I thought you did and just bought and downloaded 2 gigs of game I am not sure I need anymore lol.

No it includes all the stuff from Trinity.
