Loc: Spain,
This plane was flown by U.S. Marine Corps Major John H. Glenn and dubbed "MiG Mad Marine". Glenn flew this aircraft during his time as an exchange pilot with the 25th Fighter Squadron, 51st Fighter Wing, in Korea in mid 1953. He shot down three MiG-15 aircraft. John Glenn later became an astronaut and U.S. senator.

Hope you like it, cheers:

MiG Alley! F-86 Sabres vs. MiG-15s. We are so badly in need of a Korean air war sim. The F-86 is pretty close to being my favorite aircraft in all of aviation history. When I read that the crew that did Cliffs Of Dover were in the beginning stages of a Korean War sim when they switched over to that one, I thought, "Dammit!! So close!"
I've been tempted to reinstall IL-2 just so I could fly the Korea mod. But, I know that it wouldn't make me happy and I'd uninstall again. The F-86's performance was just awful. At least, when I flew it.

Don't forget the Panther though! Actually had more combat hours than the F-86.

All three are available with IL-2 mods. I wish they were part of the official version though.
