Don't know... It appears around the second target on display... Also wonder does HARM should be somehow vissible in the moment of firing, like a mark which quickly "runs" to the + Mach part of display. It is vissible on P-14 radar, but still....

What causes this wide signal from the second F-14 (it's like it is between the antena and E-2C "Hawkeye"...)?

Please check manual page 31. (a propeller driven plane in the RPC beam)

I saw that and thought it was the ground clutter. It isn't?

Ground clutter with a CW Doppler radar???

Should be visible.

Looks similar... What is it anyway? Can't figure it out frown

You have two (possibly three) targets in your RPC beam.

So, "Hawkeye" on backstage for sure! His doppler signal appears when F-14 are turning back away (angular velocity goes 0 m/s) and "Hawkeye" is circling some 200 km further.... thumbsup

Wellcome Milang...

As I know, nobody is going to do Ajax, but Hercules...
And better older SAM, but realistic, than fancy new stuff, but with no real parameters...
Mission editor is good, but if there are new historical scenarios, I'll trade him.. wink

P.S. Dear Hpasp, is it worth it to create a second "SCUD" program for Ashuluk, with the parameters from the source I've used in my post about SA-5?
And about "GOD MODE", personnaly I don't mind, but I wouldn't use it... thumbsup

I was looking tracks in Linebacker and found that F-4's, which blocked the airfields, has speed at 250 to 330 km/h, which seems be slightly above the take off speed.

Here:

http://books.google.bg/books?id=oeJuJtjK4k0C&pg=SA11-PA30&lpg=SA11-PA30&dq=f-4+take+off+speed&source=bl&ots=NZaopiqkLQ&sig=LPaTWCAE5tXN_fuOzsDxxjeIsl8&hl=bg&sa=X&ei=b26UT-7qKs_Ssga8-bGuBA&sqi=2&ved=0CFUQ6AEwBg#v=onepage&q=f-4%20take%20off%20speed&f=false

and here:
http://www.jetdiscovery.com/wiki/mcdonnell-douglas-f-4-phantom-ii

Quote:
Take-off from land bases usually involves half-flaps. The elevators become effective at around 110 to 115kt (204-213km/h), and the aircraft is rotated at 130 to 135kt (240-250km/h). Lift-off speed varies with air temperature and altitude, but is typically around 140 to 150kt (256-278km/h).

I believe they should performe faster, at least snailing with 300 km/h on 2000 meters is a bit unhealthy (NVA doesn't suffer from AAA shortage, especially arround important objects).

Personally I think that this is not needed.

Actually, I think that idea isn't that bad.
A training mode in which we could practice Libyan scenarios.
OR
a training scenario in which we could practice engagements in 'HARM-rich environment' smile
