Now, back to flying!!! All of you! Or, all of us!

But I've already seen the whole island....

FSX? SF2? DCS? F4BMS? FC2? I know you must have SOMETHING installed other than Flight...

cheers

Opinions yes, but do you really think the resulting changes will go beyond better missions, cockpits and more aircraft and new areas...?

Well, I didn't think Flight was going to be the worst "game" ever published under a Microsoft title..so odder things have happened..

I would like to thank you and the rest of the SHQ staff for allowing the SHQ forums to remain open to varying viewpoints on FLIGHT.

I, too, am rather thru with the general thrashing of FLIGHT so I have decided to focus on the people (or person in this case) that I believe is wholly and solely responsible for the demise of the franchise.

Joshua Howard is probably a fantastic project manager and I believe he has a track record of success. That does not qualify him to be HMFIC over a flight simulation project. In my opinion FLIGHT will never be a mass appeal game and he is trying to make it into one.

Honestly, if he had driven the addons to be weapons hot P40's and Zeros with a Japanese fleet and a shifting front with victory conditions... we'd all be praising him as a genius.

... if the P40's and Zero's had VC's, that is.

No AI traffic.

One island chain.

Limited stable of aircraft, some with no VC.

I might as well go back to FS 3.0.

MS Flight stinks, and Josh Howard needs to stick to console games. He does not know the PC market. Nuff said.

Definately.

Maybe it will have potential to be featured in one of your forum-famous AARs at one point... biggrin

I wouldn't be opposed to that if they bring some game to the game. I mean..I'm sure the beta comments must have given them tons of good scenarios for gameplay. Heck, they could have looked to FSX for ideas on fun scenarios. The physics and graphics are there for Flight..now if they could churn out some fun things to do with it I'd be onboard..

Something is fishy about the whole Ms Flight thing..2 fighters with no VC!! My guess is they will
be coming,,so detailed it'll blow everything else out of the sky--and free--there has to be
an angle to this,,,they can't be that insanely stupid not to have a plan,,,just can't, can't
be....they have an angle,,,they're all in the board room planning all this right now,,laughing their tails
off...watch out,,,something big is coming,,MS Flight is just a teaser,,,They have a plan, I'll put money on
it!! Nothing else makes sense,,,,
