I have dual 570s right now and I want to play BF3 and Iracing, with a smattering of CoD and Shogun Total War. Thinking about 3 25" monitors and a triple stand. I curently have a 28" monitor on 1920 x 1200 which is great.

Thanks for your opinions.

I would say yes. I have a PLP setup (20" 30" 20") and for those games that I can run, it looks great. Will give you a ski got advantage in BF3 and COD since you will have more peripheral vision to spot enemies with.

It's great. AFAIK, only iRacing and rFactor do triple screen right, so you should certainly enjoy iRacing. Racing and flight sims get an extra sense of speed, with the scenery whizzing by in your peripheral vision. Even if the view in the side monitors are a little off. In other games it gives you an extra advantage, seeing more.

I suggest X3:Albion Prelude (or Terran Conflict) for anyone with a HOTAS and three monitors. It is awesome to see/fly and handles surround screens really well.

I went from sitting in front of 1 30 & 2 27's Dells to one Mitsubishi WD-73835 Dlp and could not be happier

It just depends on what you want. I'm a dad I love it but being able to still get 3-4 hours a day along with a happy home is work and the DLP setup is simplier and easier to use and obviously you understand even tho racing on a system is nice being able to do it with a PC that can chew up pixels and spit them out on such a large screen and throwe in a LFE Buttkicker and a set of Senheiser 180's put the girls to bed and off to the races we go.

I will end with this. If you got the room and a good seat the view in front of a huge screen is to die for. I've gone full tilt both ways the same way I have always raced and do miss the pc seat BUT anytime you can run a race and afterwards gotta smoke a cigarette to calm your nerves I'd say you done yourself a good service indeed.

Good Luck It Never Ends smile
