Oops, I didn't see Doug's link to the update to the updated version.

Weasy, take a spin in the the 2 wheel drive trucks at glenn helen or whatever it's called. It's quite a hoot. Don't bother with 4 wheelers there. They can't get up the hill well. At least, in my experience.

Sag, are you running Doug's 2.5 or your 2.1 mod?

I'm running the WCORR mod from doug's link. I think that's the updated version of ORR 2.1 anyway. I didn't realize that before. Also, in the WCORR mod, it comes with some tracks in it. I don't think the ORR download comes with any tracks, you'd have to hunt for them.

In the WCORR download, I think the Crandon Short, Glen Helen? and the Chula Vista tracks stand out and would be good candidates for racing.

We ran the v1.x from Madcowie. Since then they've come up with the 1.26 version, and just recently the 2.5 version.

It is the updated, update of the Mad Cowie mod we ran way back when.

Also, there are a bunch of new tracks so if you two could recon and suggest 2-3.

I have it on the (just updated) calendar for Sunday, July 15th (plus some Wednesday night running), but will try and move it up.

Here's my feedback. I don't really like it. The engine sounds aren't as rich (they actually kind of suck) and the trucks don't feel right. Plus I don't really like when a mod takes over my control panel, and especially the way this one changes around everything on the CP. The trucks seem to do okay on the tracks provided, but not so well at some of my old tracks like Bark River, Chula Vista, or especially at the great Desert Mesa course. I ran flat out at Chula Vista 07 in the WCORR Reloaded trucks and then with the ORR 2.1 and I was flying around the course (with controlled 4WD chaos) about 5 seconds faster in the ORR 2.1 truck. I was also more in control and faster at Crandon, and you can forget about Desert Mesa in the WCORR...they roll over in the turns where you should be able to drift through like with the ORR 2.1 trucks. Plus there are no horns on the WCORR trucks...lol.

My vote would be for the old trusty ORR 2.1. I forget if any tracks come with it, but Crandon, Chula Vista '07, and Desert Mesa are great tracks to run.

*EDIT* ORR 2.1 comes with Crandon long and short.
