Out of some morbid curiosity, I decided to see what fantastic new material was available for MS Flight....

A Japanese Zero?

Lets see, Hawaii is the only place to fly and they add a Japanese Zero? Does anyone else find that rather tone deaf. They shovel out a JAPANESE Zero to fly around HAWAII?

WT<self moderated, don't want to get banned>?

Oh, it gets better (or worse based on your point of view)...

The Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero was the primary fighter of the Japanese Navy Air Service from 1940 to 1945 and, when introduced, was considered the most capable carrier-based fighter in the world. This download captures the essence of this agile light-weight fighter, which is perfect for challenges requiring speed and high maneuverability. The A6M2 Zero is an external-only aircraft model. No cockpit view is included.

No VC, external only?... Again?

Joshua Howard is truly an <self moderated again... shame on me>.

Yes pretty much everything they say is filled with corporate BS, the Zero is the most ridiculous argument "the risk assessment team" deemed it safe. It seems like some plot of a sitcom based on the inner workings of a large Software company with the zany antics of programmers and their clueless project manager, who every week tells corporate how he is really going to open up new avenues in the gaming world with his unorthodox product schemes which unfortunately never work leading to hilarious consequences. If this was a TV show it would be cancelled in a few weeks.

I swear that is exactly what I think whenever I hear more news out of the Flight offices. I've even cast the characters in my mind (some from SNL and some from The Office and some from Office Space)..

Wow.

Respectfully Malibu..we aren't beating a dead horse. This horse is very much alive and kicking right now..and is in fact in its infancy. The opinions, criticisms, and positive comments are all shaping this title as we speak (according to the Flight team anyway). So while you might be tired of dissenting opinions, it IS what Flight's team wants according to their own desire to have data inputs.

All I've noticed is Fsx with after market scenery and old aircraft models. Nothing to get excited over. I'll stick with Fsx since I have most of the scenery upgrades installed. (and after market add-ons )

Only cynics and dead-enders (a.k.a. flight-simmers) can fail to appreciate the visionary path that Joshua Howard is pursuing ... a path that will lead us to uhhh ... to ... will lead us in ... that ... ugh ... whatever ...
