I recently upgraded my system to 64-bit Win7(from 32-bit). My ROF is installed on a secondary drive and is fairly up-to-date as far as patches, but of course, is not in the registry. I assume the copy protection isn't going to allow me to run from the old folder (like Il-2 will)...does anyone know if I'll have to install from scratch and spend 3 days downloading updates or if it'll detect the old folder and go from there?

You'll be able to run ROF without issue! Heck, you can even run it from a thumb-drive...

The only thing you need to do is make sure the new OS has all the third-party stuff reinstalled.

- DirectX 9
- .NET stuff
- C++ stuff

...and you're good to go!

Is it true that new download of full game gets rid of the "Demo" flashing on main screen?

No, the only way at the moment to get rid of the flashing demo notice is to buy a Demo Upgrade and go from Demo/F2P to ICE. We hope to change that in the future. We know it's annoying.

Jason, would a simple solution like changing font colour of "Demo mode" work? Black would be near invisible in that corner of the screen, and maybe you could make the font transparent altogether... Easier than going through all RoF accounts.
