Hell, it's free, why not? If I don't like it I'll delete it.

@Ice - Dude, don't make me post the Eeyore pic smile

Flight has certain things about it that makes it worth a shot - not my cup of tea but if you have the bandwidth then there's not much downside to taking a look..

I can see why some might see it as a disappointment.

It's not an evolution of FSX. It's a simple flight sim, and yes it is a sim, but not a hard core one.

I see it as a nice time waster to fly around and do some of the available missions.

It is not for the those who like the most realistic thing they can get. For that stick to FSX or XPlane.

It's only a disappointment if you put money into it then it's kinda like "is that all there is, Seriously?"
They're offering, according to the website, The Maule and the P-51 if you buy the Hawaiian Package for $29.99 and it doesn't mention the RV-6 at all. It isn't so much it's a bad game/sim/whatever it's just sad that they've decided to do a cheap facsimile of what every other developer is doing better and able to give much greater customer value and satisfaction and despite a resounding boo-hiss response from the Sim-community aren't trying to win any of them over instead offering empty corporate doublespeak. If they in fact enable Track-Ir in it and offer something that serves as a basis for a better experience in multiplayer I would feel more supportive but it looks like a quick buck scam right now.

Meh. I got spoiled with TrackIR. "Sightseeing" with no TrackIR support just doesn't sound too appealing.

It has things going for it, I will admit, but I would think people who want to try virtual flight would have their time and money best spent elsewhere. Of course if you want to try FLIGHT, then that's different.

Good to see it on Steam at least, I'd much rather use Steam for downloading than Games for Windows Live.

I'm sure it'll still involve using the GFWL profile though

Using Steam to get DLC is about the only smart move in this, the GFWL buy points to spend on DLC is kinda clunky.
