@Ice - Dude, don't make me post the Eeyore pic Flight has certain things about it that makes it worth a shot - not my cup of tea but if you have the bandwidth then there's not much downside to taking a look.. Actually, I was going to agree with Ice from the standpoint of: "they're just going to make you use GFWL anyway, now you just need two game portals open." I think that's a legit reason for why bothering with Flight on steam is pointless.

I think not having to buy Flight DLC with stupid Xbox points and instead use normal Steam purchase should be a good reason in itself, also not having to give Microsoft your credit card so that it can be hacked like mine was via the their FIFA12 + Xbox Live hack last Sept.

There is a reason it's free, cause it sucks.

There is a reason it's free, cause it sucks. It was free to begin with, which wouldn't have given anyone any reason to complain, it's when they started charging premium prices for sub premium content that's when the vacuum was felt

A good move on MS's part putting it on Steam. As Kludger pointed out, no need to mess with XBox points or whatever there called. Also the DLC should hopefully get discounted in Steams regular sales.
Mind you there still not getting a penny from me until TiR is working in game, I'm not taking there word for it that its getting implemented eventually. Not a penny, cent, nada, until its working and I've tried it.

BTW Steam DLC price bundle is discounted compared to GFWL:
GFWL price: 1. Hawaiian Adventure $20 2. Maule M-7-260C $15 3. North American P-51 Mustang $8 (no cockpit) GFWL Total: $43
Steam Microsoft Flight Hawaiian Starter Bundle: Includes 3 items: Hawaiian Adventure, Maule M-7-260C, North American P-51 Mustang Steam Total: $29.99
In my opinion those DLC prices are not bad at all compared to FSX payware for a Hawaii Islands scenery plus the Maule which is a pretty nice plane. The P-51 I have no interest in since no cockpit.

Who wants to fly a plane without a cockpit? Might as well be playing MS98 or EAW.
