I am thinking of replacing my bulky wallet with a good quality money clip & belt coin pouch.

A couple of options caught my eye but I was wondering if anyone else here have their personal recommendations ?

I also looked at the M-Clip but they are ridiculously expensive and their cheaper clips don't hold enough items.

Since I don't carry much cash anymore and buy most things with debit or credit card, about a year ago I downsized to the Slimmy:

It took a bit of adjustment to let go of all those stupid extra cards and business cards I used to carry in my overstuffed wallet but I'm much happier, my old wallet looked like this:

May not work so well for you if you do want to carry lots of cash, I usually just have two $20s or so until the wife sneaks it out of my wallet anyhow to pay for kids lunch or something.

I used to carry a huge wallet, about 4x9 inches closed. Carried it in my front pocket, or under my leg when in a car. I had more stuff inside than I can recall.

A few years ago I downsized to carrying only a couple of bills in cash and a drivers license. I bought this wallet and it's been very compact and durable:

I can't remember the last time I bought a new wallet. My current wallet has to be at least 15 years old. I have no thoughts of replacing it.

Yup, I'm for real.

As far as I know, the money clip is a mostly an American preference, less so in Europe and elsewhere.

It has its minimalist appeal and practicality, though not fully appreciated or understood by many.

Then again, I never really understood why Aussies like to keep their loose change in one of these things :-

I've used one of those bifolds with the clip in the middle for a few years now. Much nicer than regular wallets, without going all the way to just a card wallet or money clip.
