Going to need more than a screenshot to get excited. Spent way too much time getting hyped up waiting on that thing, and even that was years ago. I do wish them the best, but no more hype for me please.

While the screenshot definitly looks interesting, I must agree with you! Too many disapointments in the past to "warrant" an excitement from my part or at least a bigger excitement from my part.
I guess for me it's like the saying:

LOL, so true. The armaverse HAS become the "most realistic" scifi shooter series. SAD, but true. I have pretty much given up hope for anyone to do a true to life small arms infantry type deal.

And I'm glad you did. If it wasn't for your news I would never have known that this project ever existed.

Look at the bright side of my skepticism: If this game gets released I'll be even more happy (and surprised) than usual.

Yeap, unfortunally so true...
my only hope is that BIS won't get nearly the amount of money that they got with ArmA2 (and Op. Arrowhead) and realise that this was because of the HUGE mistake of "transforming" ArmA3 in a Sci-fi shooter and release an addon (along the lines of Op. Arrowhead) based on a present, past or at best VERY NEAR future setting/scenario.

Sorry, but why do you turn everything into an "I hate BIS" campaign? You do realize they're pretty much the only company that actually supports their customers, and that they've been making the most ambitious combat sim then any other company? And yet you still want to see them fail because they didn't make a game exactly how YOU wanted it...News flash - you can't please everyone
We get it - You don't want to buy it
