Guys,
Ages and ages ago i bought an x-45 from ebay. I have never got it working satisfactorily.

I managed to get past an issue where it was calibreating to the top right but even with that resolved it is very stuttery, imprecise and just old..

Is there anything i can do to improve it's accuracy and it's feel to make it worthwhile keeping or as it is as old as the hills should i just consign it to the bin and carry on using my rubbish Logitech stick?

Does it move around a lot in the center position? is it input spikes that are the issue?

I own a X-45 and I have not had any real problems with it, perhaps a more detailed explanation will allow me to make a guess for you.

try installing the saitek software if you haven't, that would be the best first step I can think of.

You should never throw stuff like that away, never know when you might need some parts.
