What country tree is everyone going with?

I'd like to stick to the RAF, but the ME-262 must be unstoppable online.

Still can't find those deadzone settings :p

Finally found the deadzone settings. Click A when you go into the axis setup screen on the particular axis. Flies much much better now, got a few kills, (managed 3 in a row without being shot down, landed back at base) also, knocked down a 190 with a Gladiator smile

I find with my experience in ww2ol flying as the germans, it is easy to down 109's and 190's since people don't seem to know how to energy fight in BoS (yet)

Great xbox flightsim, but just can't fly it with a gamepad. Was thinking of picking up the Saitek Aviator, but it said there was a problem with the deadzone with it. Would this dead zone adjustment, take care of this and make the Aviator a good buy?

Yes, it works great now. I couldn't play it with the controller either. I think I managed 10 minutes into Birds of Prey before heading out and buying the av8r.

I don't recall a deadzone adjustment in BoP, so maybe that's why I never enjoyed it as much.

The Saitek is wonderful now, I wonder if it's an ubfair advantage? I seem to be doing quite well in the versus modes with it.

Similar to me using a wheel in TDU2 online, I think most people use a gamepad.

Gah, I actually forgot this one came out! Just placed my order for it through Amazon since apparently no Gamespot near me is carrying it frown It'll probably be getting to my house in week or so, unfortunately.

I also found the deadzone settings something of a quandry. I actually have mine nearly maxed out (full right) to get rid of the massive deadzone. I had thought that full left was to eliminate the deadzone, as it is in most games, seems to be the opposite here.

For the PS3 I have been using the Saitek Cyborg 5, found it for like 40 bucks and with a zip tie on the spring to lessen the stiffness, it has actaully been working fantastic!

I also have this for the Xbox and my aviator should be at the front door today. Looking forward to getting back on the Xbox as the network connectivity seems to be much better, heckuva lot less lag than the PS3.

You probably know by now that none of the German jet or rocket powered planes are available in Versus. They might be useable in coops.

I had no idea.

Great. Then I'll stick to the RAF. I've been doing very well with the Spit 2, can't wait to get back online with it.

Got it on PS3... Is there someone to make a nice little guide about how to remap the buttons? I don't know if it just that my Saitek Aviator 1 (plugged in the second USB) is just not recognized or I did something wrong but I can't remap the keys and axes... Some said the aviator 2 worked but I don't see any aviator 2 choice in the control setup, How did you do it to make it work?

Nice game overall, they learned from sim player's feedback, it's not here yet but there is real improvements over WOP/BOP... Now If I can make my joystick to work, it would be even greater.

Hope they will get it out on PC in the future, with better resolution and AA, this sim-lite will rules! Love all the little details: Bullet trajectory's smoke, nice spring work on the gears, Water reflection shaders, etc...

I don't have either of the two, but have you tried setting the Aviator as controller one, in the "accessories" menu.
