Monaco is kind of similar to this at the moment too, just the loft and a few of the buildings in place! Really interesting to see how much altitude variation there is in the tracks.

This game is starting to turn into my Sim if choice now that they are well the way to ironing out the issues with Fanatec wheels.
I love the look of the Sim and the physics and ffb engines are really starting to come together.
I know it may be seen as heresy on this forum but if I am honest I think I prefer it at this stage of development to rf2.. Good to hear they are finally working on the Fanatec FFB, all the builds I've tried in the past had terribly disappointing Fanatec FFB IMHO so I quit downloading it, sounds like I will download the latest one to check out the Fanatec FFB and Nordschleife, thanks for the heads up. That is one thing for me where rF2 has easily been better than PCARS so far FFB and physics, but I am still really hopefull for both titles to get better and better in their weak areas.

Bollocks... I spent the last couple of nights trying to find out why my graphics had suddenly gone corrupt, thought it was drivers or an installation problem. I'm an ass but then again, such is the quality in some areas of the game I often forget it's still pre-alpha.

Haha!
Funny story - One of the test pilots of the SR-71 Blackbird was up at Duxford Aviation Museum (they have one in the American Aircraft Hangar there) doing a talk at one of the American Air days, and he was talking about a display it flew on the South Coast. Apparently one of the crew made a small error in the navigation calculations and they managed to 'miss' England and hard to turn around over the French coast!

Love the potiental... but someone wake me when they real street/muscle or Grand Am type cars. thx You'll probably be interested in this one when it gets started, Magnum. 2013 GT500 Not been a date set as to when it will be started, but once it does...development seems to go pretty quick with most cars.

Didn't see mention of it, but Build 261's out now. It's a patch on 249/254, so use the Launcher to update. For the first time, I took the Lotus 49 out at Rouen...I usually run at Imola in the FA's...and all I can say is wow! Set the time of the day to 10AM, made it lightly cloudy going to clearing and ran some laps. Graphically, it is impressive as hell in either DX mode! The tree shadows on the road really make you have to concentrate and really give it a different visual feel than any other racing sim I've tried. I still don't get the tire feedback I'd like to and that might be due to my settings, but that Cosworth Lotus is a ball, and can be a challenge, to drive. If you haven't tried that combination and ran GPL back in the day, give it a try and have a smile put on your face. While the Lotus 49 doesn't have the same characteristics as the GPL one did, it's still a lot of fun and what a view.

Pumbaa, you have to use the Launcher now.
I used to just download the torrents and install them, but it screwed up royally this last time I had to start using the Launcher to get the correct version. There's instructions on the Download page on "How To" do it correctly now.
