I've gotten curious about this and been to their page but could not find how much each "tier" of the membership costs. Any help?

Also, is this like a monthly-subscription commitment like iRacing or is it a one-time buy like rFactor?

And lastly, to those who have both pCARS and rFactor, which one would you choose and why?

Thanks!

You should be able to find the info here:
http://forum.wmdportal.com/toolpacks.php

It's a one-off purchase although chargeable DLC will be offered after release.

Hard to compare CARS and rFactor as they are different products in very different stages of development with different goals and aspirations. rFactor is a fully developed product with a a ton of content and has been around for ages with full multiplayer etc. CARS will knock you socks off but is currently pre alpha and is lacking in functionality and still has lots of issues that need to be worked out.

Right now i'd take rFactor any day of the week simply because i love the online community and the variety of racing it offers. but as i said, it's not a fair comparison really. If you can afford it, get both.

Comparing to rF2 could be a more interesting discussion though.....

Membership pricing

Its a one shot deal but with further DLC pushing up the cost as far as i am aware.

At the moment, for me rFactor 2 drives a better race but that is purely down to p-cars not sorting the FFB out with my Fanatec yet.. when that is done I suspect it will become a closer decision..

I am going to have both installed for a very long time i suspect.

Yeah, sorry, I should've specified rF2, not rF1.

Can't see the prices guys, the forum wants me to register. I'd rather not register to yet-another-forum if I'm just going to skip this one. Any chance of a copy-paste here? Thanks!
