1946 detail level it seems. No where near like Cliffs Of Dover, but definitely serviceable!

If I get out-of-the-box functionality these days, I'm thrilled.

This is looking amazing.

This is a great introduction for new flight simmers; good for us grizzled and bitter vets as well lol smile

From what I've seen I'd say the modelling sits somewhere between IL2 and CloD. Which is not a bad thing.
Just how much detail is required when playing the game?
I still break out WoP now and again. The modelling in there is on par with IL2 (not surprisingly) but the terrain is excellent, best I've ever seen in a flight Sim

If they can marry that to improved modelling and FM/DM then we are in for a visual treat.

My only concern is that this is being marketed heavily for the online crowd.
What the offline game will be like is a concern. WoP was let down badly on that front.

Well to be fair, this game is actually marketed as a MMORPG, gunning straight at the World of Tank type of players, all the hundreds of thousands of them. It's not set out to be good at both, I do believe there will be some smaller offline component for people to hone their skills. Whatever you do, don't think this will be a 50% offline 50% online type of deal, you'll be sorely disappointed me thinks.
