got it... picked up the Master's Collector's Edition, which is suppose to contain 20 additional courses... remains to be seen, because i don't see them. lol

Also joined the club... Think I'm starting with pro till i build up some character stats, then will switch to Tour Pro.

Sorry NO... stopped doing EA Sport games a few years ago... love there sport games, and love the golf series... but 60 bucks a year for a updated game, then 10 bucks for each course every year, usually around a dozen, then now there micro-fund crap... would love to but EA Sports can suck on my... never mind...

Looking to pick this one up also. I have to see if the BX has it yet. If not I will wait to see if they get it next week then I will order it online. I havent play TW since 10 I think or 11. Either way its time to start again

I'm liking the game mechanics... best so far, not too hard and not too easy...

Good vids Magnum.

Yeah, I'm really liking this year's game as well. The putting, short game, bunker play, etc. seem to have all gotten an overhaul and it it takes some actual skill to get up and down from around the greens now. You really have to know what you're doing in a bunker (proper impact behind/below the ball is essential).

It can be frustrating at times but I'm sure it'll get easier with practice and as my golfer's attributes increase.

I picked it up yesterday and joined. Still coming to grips with Tour Pro difficulty. My first 3 singleplayer rounds went like this.. +2, -4, +21.... So yeah, a bit hit and miss so far... Anyway, looking forward to the club tournaments.

I like how the sand play actually mimics playing for real...finally. In a green side bunker you can blast out if you short side the pin. Practice, if you aren't doing it already, holding the cursor behind the ball, not on it, and making a stroke. You can really pull off some touch shots with practice. Same is true with the greenside rough.

I was on hole 18 of round two of this weeks SimHQ tourney... damn game completely locked, had to hard shutdown... will see tomorrow if it lets me continue or if I'm out already. wink
