Luthier is logged on there, I expect a huge announcement any second now!

Fair enough statements about the micro-stutters. Right decision not to release any more bugged offerings. Average screenshots of unaliased aircraft over average ground textures. Yes its all WIP but we are back to screenshots of a game in development. Looks a lot like the sort of stuff we were looking at in Friday updates 2 years ago tbh.

Reminds me mightily of IL2:1946 modded....but with terrible graphic settings.

We need some "WoW Factor" !!!!

I would like to see the patch too but I don't feel it's unplayable, actually it runs really good on my system with med-high settings but it is rather blah at the moment.
I think Luthier is properly humble about the problems they are having and wise not to fuel the fire by giving in to temptation and releasing anything too soon.

Mmm.. In my mind they are honest enough to admit the patch isn't quite ready, so it is probably not a good idea to release it prematurely.. Hats off to them for that.
But looking at the screens I find myself totaly underwhelmed.. I'm not convinced by them at all, which is sad.
The terrain doesn't help either.. if this is supposed to be the 'showpiece new title' then there is much work to do.

No I don't think they have any motivation to 'Wow' anyone at this point. They seem to have assumed a 'lowest common denominator' stance, I would too, maybe. It's probably better to have people #%&*$# and complain about being undewhelmed than overwhelmed

Being underwhelmed is only my view of course.. however, over on banana central you have 'fantastic', 'awesome' and 'epic' pics..
What exactly is so epic about the pics they have chosen to show is beyond me.. I must be missing something.

They may really like the Eastern Front campaign and the aircraft in it. A lot of people learnt to love the IL2 Sturm etc.
