I saw this on the shelf at an Army base I was just at today and the price was right so I bought it. I like HAWX and every once in a while I enjoy getting ut and just flying so I can blow stuff up...WHAT A POS! I can't even get into the menus and on the start screen when I choose 1920x1200 resolution, it tells me I need administrator priveledges or something to that effect. Then it opens up and my keyboard is frozen so I can't make any choices except for the enter key. Has anybody tried the POS and had the same problems? cuss2

Skipped it once I saw the previews.

Nice to see someone #%&*$# and moan over these types of games... I was getting tired of "this sim is too complex for me" lines. biggrin

What steam is selling it for is the same I payed on base and thought it was a bargain...HaH! Free wouldn't even be a bargain for this POS! No technical support whatsoever either. They knew what they were selling.

Did you try installing it in its own folder 'outside' of the 'Program Files'
But yeh, from the videos at YouTube, I lost interest. I almost, I mean, almost bought into it until I looked at other videos. The trailer was kinda sweet. Sorta 3rd person perspective. But then I saw that it was a circus act on my screen.
That and HAWKS...laughable.
And here's Strike Fighters with the kids voices....come on please!!!

Read my other comments on using kids voice overs for combat simulations.
Seriously? Whose gonna be drawn into a sim except the perverted child molesters.
