I am learning the F-16 in bms, having done a bit of the same in AF a year or so ago, then giving it up due to the 2D/3D swapping thing.

I'm getting on well - ramp starts almost without the checklist now and getting on with AA radar modes etc.

It would be nice to have someone to fly with, another learner perhaps, to do some practice dogfights or just radar practice. Also need to learn AG, too, especially HARM.

I'm not looking for a virtual squadron as I am already lined up to join one - this stuff is just to get me to a reasonable standard of confidence before I join in their training regimen.

I'm in the UK and have lots of SP sim experience and a little MP in F4AF, FC and BS.

Well since you're in the uk might be difficult but me and brennus have been hopping into bms for short ~1hr sessions pretty much all week doing pretty much exactly what you are talking about. If you can you could try and hop on the SimHQ team speak around 8 central time us, which is I think... 2 am uk time? Otherwise shoot me a pm and I can be on most days an hour before that. Also I'm usually free on the weekends and always up for some flying.

Hi, thanks for the reply and offer.

Yeah, being a middle-aged disabled person, weekdays at 2am or even 1am would be a no-no for me.

Weekends would be fine, though, I'll send you a pm - thanks smile

I would try the base operations forum over at the BMS forum http://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/forum.php. You will need to register though

I might take you up on that offer, JonnyD. I'm in the UK too, but still making my cockpit... won't be flying until next weekend or so.
