Yeah apparently Joshua Howard's background is that he was the creator of "Ants" a free to play game on MSN Zone:

I agree, we can see Microsoft's priorities for Flight by the qualifications/experience of the person they put in charge (it explains much), it's just too bad that he has such a bad anti "hardcore simmer" attitude which is a major segment of his customer base, maybe he got that dislike from dealing with the "hardcore Antsers" community when MS shut down the Ants game:

The way he's raving on and on about how hard it is "to do something new" he knows M$ Flight = fail and he's already building up the crappy excuses fort. Listening to the dude you'd think they developed something at least as revolutionary as Wolfenstein 3d and the damned simmers just can't see the light. Or the casual gamers. Or anybody.

There's absolutely not one thing new or revolutionary about this Flight failure. Not a single one, everything in Flight has been done before, and better too. Wake up, dude.
