Pretty cool by a mix of Middle and High school students. Major kudos for them to take on a project at that age.

Pretty impressive! So far, I'm not sure I see the "Viper" connection though - looks more like a flight-sim cockpit. But still, quite a project, all the more impressive when you consider their age.

If they make a functioning DRADIS display I'll be very impressed.

I'd say that is impressive. As a young teen, I would never have thought of that.

Well since their is no true BSG sim and considering how hard it would be to build a scratch viper body this is nothing short of awesome. A good project to have on a college application if nothing else.

Hey, that's nothin'. I made a working Sherman tank when I was 12 that I could get in and fire out of. Of course right below the US Army Hell on Wheels symbol it said Maytag heavy load washing machine---and unfortunately right after a heavy rain it got soggy and collapsed into the flattened cardboard box that my mom's new washer came in.


But until it did, it destroyed 5 Panthers, 3 Tigers, a Panzer IV, and 2 Stug IIIB's---Matag makes damn good cardboard tanks. We could have won if not for the damn rain storm. Maytag made a fine Sherman, but it just wouldn't stand up to moisture.
