Just had my Saitek Combat Pro pedals arrive at work. ^_^

I found using keys a bit annoying (and a bit heavy-handed.) The general consensus is that the pedals are decent products. Before I plug in when I get home, any tips or gotchas with them?

Thanks.

Not really. Just remember to tick the Invert button when you set them up in DCS A10, else you start with the brakes always on. And tick Slider as well (but some say this is unnecessary).

Mine's been catching crap, dust, and fluff under the table for more than a year now, still working fine.

i wasn't able to install Saitek software in W7 64 so i used them as standard hid controller, since i don't program keyboard functions on pedals it was ok for me, just to know, did you successfully install the driver?

Use them at the lowest resistance settings if you want the fastest response.

No issues with the driver here on Win 7 64b.

When taxiing to takeoff I turn on the Controls Indicator with RCtrl-Enter because sometimes the toe brakes do not go all the way to zero and the jet will pull to one side. Happens sometimes if I use the toe brakes before takeoff - typically when doing a formation takeoff which can get quite dicey. When I see some signal on one of the brakes then it is a simple matter to clear it with a tap of the 'W' key. Too bad it happens to begin with, though.

What - Ice said about the Invert. I use Slider, too.

This can come handy if you focus on helicopter-simulations.

Help! I can't find which axis the pedals are on! I've got the Warthog and the pedals in and there are lots of options! What's the easiest way to find out which are the pedals? The toe brakes work but I can't get the rudder to work meaning I'm not on the right axis.
