I noticed half the courses listed are pending DLC... so I take it those are the buy later courses, or download for free when released?

I'm counting 13 of a total of 33 courses are DLC. Of the 13, I'd only have an interest in about 5, maybe 6 tops.

I'm going to get the Collector's Edition which, I think, comes with a few more courses.

I don't know all the details about the CC but it probably amounts to little more than bragging rights but I think you might be able to set up your own tournaments, which would be very cool. If memory serves, you've been asking for that in this game for quite awhile.

Yes, I'm getting the Collector's Edition too. I think the DLC courses usually run about $4-$7 each so the extra $10 is worth it to me. Frankly, I think $7 for one course is a monumental rip-off but, whatever. I pick and choose very carefully and I don't ever buy those fantasy pieces of crap. Only real courses for me.

I'll be picking it up tomorrow.

I gotta look into the details of the Country Club. I think we can set up our own tournaments. We'll see.

I just looked at the Country Club site again. You CAN create your own tournaments. OUT-FRICKING-STANDING!!

The CC option sounds very cool. I was getting the game anyway but this option makes it even sweeter. I actually pre-ordered it today which is pretty funny considering it comes out tomorrow but I'll get another course out of it. I ordered the Collector's edition as well so 6 courses for $10 seems pretty reasonable.

can you have a in club tourney... but play at your own time/pace... or do you have to play together... the same time?

I can set up a tourney (one round or four rounds) and give up to a week to complete it. Near as we can tell, it works like the online tournaments. You play at a time that's convenient for you and post your score when you're done with your round.

Just like i said... god i hate EA... released today, over a dozen courses to BUY extra... so, what courses are included on the disk?

I walked into Gamestop yesterday and they told me that it was too late to pre-order the Collectors Edition. They said that the shipments usually come with 1 or 2 extra limited editions. When I picked up the game this morning they had 1 Collectors Edition available so I grabbed it. Unfortunately, I'm leaving for work now so I don't even have time to take the shrink wrap off the box.



I like the concept of the online tournaments with the CC. The idea of playing your round(s) at your own convenience/pace is great. I'm also curious of how the Kinect implementation plays.
