Hello all, UK Armour are a fledgling SB VU, mostly UK based, we've been formed for just over five weeks now and are
having great fun learning how to work as a cohesive unit.

Here's a short AAR from last Wednesdays evening training, as submitted by Killjoy on our internal forum.

Here's the map, we're to assault the town at GR 113 062 and clear it of any enemy,
using two sections of Warrior (Pizaro standing in) and one troop of Challenger 2

The Challengers are to take up over watch positions on the hill at GR 137 060
and the Warrior fire support section are to take up positions at GR 126 064

"Eyes on."
The Challengers of 1A move forward up onto their first BP and get eyes on the town.
(Burning vehicles can be seen to the right of the road)

"Getting a bead on."
Meanwhile, the Warriors of the Fire Support section move onto their overwatch position and get set up to supply the assault platoon with covering fire during their attack

"Stand by, stand by..."
The Warriors of the assault platoon rush forward and hold short of the town, allowing their infantry to dismount.

"Go! Go! Go!"
Seen through the sights of 1 Alpha's Challenger 2, the assault platoon go in, each section covering the other as they move into the outskirts of the town.

"Friends from afar."
The Challengers of 1 Alpha hold their over watch position as the assault goes ahead.

CONTACT RIGHT!!"
Man down! AK47 fire rings out as the first squad into the town takes a hit.

"Here comes the cavalry."
After watching the troops of 2 Alpha dismount and begin their attack, the Challengers of 1 Alpha rush forward into their second battle position closer to the town to provide intimate fire support

"Target stop!"
A Warrior of 2 Alpha hammers the corner of a building after an Insurgent team takes pop shots, catching one of guard.

"F.I.S.H."
2 Alpha's dismounts, under heavy fire, begin fighting house by house, room by room to flush the insurgents out.

"Tactical withdraw."
2 Alpha's dismounts are given orders to fall back to the outskirts of the town for CASIVAC by the Warriors after taking more losses. The insurgents have taken a beating, but they still hold most of the town... for now.

We hope you like it, there will be more AAR's to come smile

Hi MaceUk33

We play on a Wednesday evening and Sunday evening at 20.00 GMT, at the moment our CO has closed recruiting.
but that's mainly because most of us are new to online play, and we're learning how to do it right.

Here's what our CO said in the SB forums

"UK Armour now has 10 members and recruiting is temporarily suspended until the present contingent have completed their basic training. Once that's done, I will probably reopen the unit to new members on a first come, first served basis"

So we will be looking for new members in the not too distant future.
