I support the game and will continue to support the game. Like I said, I have purchased everything in the game that does not have a no refunds policy. Sorry I mentioned there was a chance it might not come out, because I was unaware that truth would... "contribute to the downfall of the sim".<--- wacky

In order to stay open they need money. Denying them money because you dont think they will stay open makes the first that much harder.

Actually, I think the reason for the no refunds policy has more to do with the much longer development cycle the team will be going through before they deliver the new map and the fact that they did get at least one request for a refund when some folks got impatient over the length of time it took to release the C.II (I don't know if it was just one or maybe a couple of requests, but they hadn't had to deal with that in the past). They are not holding the pre-order money in escrow -- they are using it to fund development right now (again, as they always have). So I think they are just heading the impatient types off at the pass, so to speak.

In other words, I don't think the policy was put in place because the team is suddenly at some greater risk of not delivering things. As I said previously, this is their perpetual situation so it really shouldn't be news to anyone frequenting these boards.
