as a reminder!!! heres basic instructions from Moggys site again...

"The night lighting trick is very simple....

We appear to have three shades of luminous colours in the EAW palette - whites/greys (palette nos 240-255),
reds (224-229) and yellows (230-239). These colours can however only be used with a panel on a 3dz shape
that is defined as a type 3, which Paulo Morais describes in his notes as "a coloured polygon surface painted
in single colour of index given" i.e. the palette number of the colour is specified in the 3dz file. These
colours will not behave luminously if added to a standard skin for the more usual type 5 "opaque textured
polygon" type element skinned from a texture file."

all i did was make small 6-8 node size elements and copied (aka piggybacks) onto the Greif wing tips and a
recessed flood into its portside leading...

to save time testing which colour poly palette # use red (228) green (239) white (255) for starters but do get
brighter with darker nights.

IronMike PM your email address when you get a chance!!!

cheers

You can tie landing lights into the landing gear code so that the lights show when the gear is down and go off when the gear is up.

What ever happened to the runway lights mod? I remember a screenshot, but it was years ago.

when you find it send it my way...btw the night flood light in this case goes on/off nicely with the tail gear code, have no idea if/where any other landing lights are other than those L/R navigation lights...

The runway lights are active in Dunkirk and Iraq. Very basic shapes.

Probably need a tmod something the RAF actually used for mobile runway ights.

The landing lights are part of the Night Blitz download at the bottom of the Nightfighter project page.
