I used to have a Momo before I quit racing but have been getting the itch to start racing again. What are most of you all using now.

Fanatec Porsche Turbo S user here, no longer in production though. I've my eye set on the Fanatec Club Sport Wheel that is in production, it will feature a removable wheel, so you can use different wheels for different cars/ sims.

I think most are using the Logitech G25 and or G27.

G27 here, been using it for a while. Be careful with fanatec though, on the iracing forums there is a thread with a bunch of people with defective wheels and complaining of poor customer support. I don't know if they have fixed their problems yet.

Just switched from a MOMO earlier this year to a G27. I love it! It is easily the best wheel I have ever used!

Logitech Driving Force GT here. Great wheel and a great price. I bought a used set of G27 pedals for it using the USB bodnar cable so you do not have to plug them into the wheel base.

I'm STILL using the Momo although it's been out of production for a few years...lol.

Maybe when I get my Obutto set up I'll whine a little to my wife and be able to get a G27. Surprisingly she knows that online racing is one of my very few hobbies and is supportive. I still need to get her to support the idea of a new rig too.

"My controller won't work with the cockpit. Guess I'll have to get a G27."

Later...

"Damn, my computer doesn't work right with the cockpit and G27. Better get a new computer."

Just keep reminding her its cheaper than golf. hahaha

I just told my wife... "if i wasn't gaming, I'd probably be at the strip club every night getting drunk and losing dollar bills"... she knows that properly true... so she never bothers me about gaming toys. wink

BTW, FANATEC GT2 here and LOVE it... there service has gotten alot better, along with there productivity.

LMAO Doug, that's true! Quite a few years ago I was spending a ton on golf! And Magnum, although I probably wouldn't be at the strip clubs (well maybe) I have thrown that at my wife too. My arguement is always..."well, with this you know where I am and I'm not getting in trouble at the bars or in jail!". biggrin

With my recent computer problems I was getting very frustrated and I think I almost had her talked into a new computer...but then I figured out my problems and fixed them. Curses to me! I managed to talk her into letting me get the Obutto because I told her my back was killing me during long races and my office chair sucked. She told me to get whatever chair I wanted... bananadance
