Sure.
But it's still fake.
Take a look at the previous video at about the 2:00 mark, you can clearly see it's fake as well.

Actually I don't see that, on video 13/14 @ 2:00 I see a big wet smear through the middle of the lens which proves it's filmed with a camera that has a smear on the lens and honestly if you go to the website I don't see why they would spend so much time to do this just to fake it with CGI. Yeah, it looks a little bizarre but since this is covered over in the Netherlands in news media and print maybe someone who speaks Dutch can shed more light on it and since it seems that it was on the front page of MSN it will probably fall apart under close scrutiny.

FAKE OR NOT

ANALYSIS AND BREAKDOWN OF VIDEO

From the second link...

Quote:
So, where do I stand on the issue of real or fake? I said I would leave that up to you, didn’t I? Let me just say that there is nothing in this video that indicates it must be a fake.

Looked cool to me but i'm no expert.

My character somehow got all twisted up. I was playing the mission where you have to infiltrate the Golden Glow Estate and do multiple things. When I was out burning beehives and fighting I just eventually ran away to view my success from a distance. I first noticed it when I squated down on a tree trunk. Coot..the squatter../simHQ/2011

It's because it's FAKE.

Sure. Not going to do him much good when it's confirmed that he's a fraud. Even made it onto the BBC website.

He's not a fraud, he is a performance artist.

I dunno; Remi Gaillard is a performance artist. This is something else.

I wouldn't like to call this one way or the other.

Instinct says fake, but it doesn't have the usual obvious flaws.

A few things raised questions - The motion of the wings does not *appear* enough to generate the required lift and I'd expect much more headcam movement for someone who was working hard. When he lands there is an onlooker conveniently blocking the point of touchdown and it seems his landing run went on for quite a while.

The question over this chap's identity doesn't help, either.

Will it all turn out to be an advertising stunt?

Yeah I agree it is fake, didn't see it at first but now after reviewing all the experts points of interest now I just want to get a large mob to go tar and feather this guy and drop him off a cliff "don't forget to flap your wings..." The internet is full of lies and deceptions it's no wonder people can get away with posting "reel" stuff over reality.
