I've had this problem for a while. I fly mostly the F-15. During a mission, when I turn on the ILS the game freezes. This is very frustrating!
I've applied the latest patch. I have no mods installed. I don't think this is hardware-related, as I've changed my graphics card recently and the freeze is still there. All drivers are also up-to-date. I'm running Win7 64.

Any help?

What do you meen by "turning ILS on"? The ILS comes on automaticly if you are correctly alligned with the airport and landing from the correct heading as directed by ATC. Do you meen shifting from BVR mode to Nav mode?

Hi,
When I'm in BVR mode, I can press key 1 (for example) to switch back to NAV. Once in NAV, I can press key 1 again to turn on ILS and cycle through available airfields (if I understand correctly how this mode works...)
Anyway, that's when the freeze happens: when I press 1 again once in NAV mode.

This happens to me too occasionally when pressing the 1 key. I think it's a "known" issue (or at least I remember other people mentioning it). Don't think there's anything to be done about it (but of course I'd like to be wrong about that).

Strange, i press the 1 key multiple times in my missions and have never had that problem. Never heard about a "known" problem there either. Check your key assignment list for duplicate keys. Try also to only use the keyboard when changing modes with 1 2 3 ....

I have the same problem - it occurs with F-15 only, I think. Anyway - it happens not when I switch on ILS by pressing 1, it happens if I press 1 three times in order to return back to route mode - so what I do is switch to BVR mode or so, for example by pressing 2 and then to ENR mode by pressing 1 - switching to ILS from ENR does not cause me the freeze, only when directly trying to return to ENR from ILS.
