I fly various a/c and have a X52Profile which SHOULD work for all. I have POV2 hatset for trim, Elev and yaw, using "joystick buttons" (not keys or axis). In A/C with 3 axis trim all works well, but in A/C like the C 172, which I don't think has Yaw or roll trim if I hit key the A/C acts as if I am using trim???
Probems !

Flight model error/bug/limitation.

Just don't use trim when flying the 172. Problem solved.

DuD Heretic, don't do it on purpose, but at times pushing the hat up it goes left/right a little thus trim added!
EP FSX C 172 also the VRS SB, and Iris T6A

Oldpop you may want to consider moving Trim to the Hat on the Throttle (Hat3).

I found that Hat on the throttle better to use for trim functions since I don't seem to get so many accidental diagonal hat movements compared to the ones on the stick (Hat1 or Hat2).
