I just visited the trackir forums and did a search for why CoD is still not listed as a supported title. It seems the Cod developers need to integrate trackir into the game code in order for it to appear on the list. The reason this matters is that right now I have to select a profile for the game and set it as exclusive before playing, and then remember to unset it before playing anything else.
I don't know how big a deal it is for the CoD devs to set this up, but trackir sent the request to them back when Oleg was still with the team.
Would it be possible to take time out from developing a new sim, and making drivable tanks to get around to this?

I'd imagine Trackir integration is far down on the list of priorities, especially pre-mega-supra-patch.

Taking time out developing a new sim may not be in our or trackirs interest as they may need to start making money. Who knows, I've gven up procrasturbating

As far as i know it uses IL2 1946 which i use myself. I don't have to set anything to exclusive or do anything else special before playing.

I don't think it matters, as long as it works you can set up any profile you want.

I've never used a stock Track ir profile. I set a custom profile for Il2 4.08 a millennia ago and have never touched it since. Other than centering at the beginning of the game it works equally well in Il2/COD/FS-X.

No problems from here either ( trackir5 ) - only thing I cant get my head round is the actual trackir software. Ever since they went to the new style software I can not make head or tail of it with regards to custom profiles... must be getting old!

Thanks for pointing this out. I did not know that software would use the same profile for CoD as for Il2.

Track IR is pretty versatile software. I've used RoF's profile too and had no issues. Experiment around with it. It's not terribly difficult, though I do believe the newest software is a bit cumbersome.
